Welcome to the Department of Education, Region VII web site. I am honored to serve as a Director to this large and highly diverse region and pleased to share our message with parents, students, and the learning community. We are delighted also to share our pride in our schools, our innovative programs, and the accomplishments of students. We trust that a visit to our schools will demonstrate the strong commitment of all staff to the programs initiated both locally and nationally, service excellence, and to STUDENTS FIRST INITIATIVE.

This web site serves as an important vehicle for sharing information with parents and the broader public relating to the excellent programs and services provided through the Department. Further, this also serve as generating and processing accurate data for benchmarking. While providing essential information to the public, the web site allows you the opportunity to contact us, share your opinions and ideas for the on-going improvement of our system and calling the appropriate telephone number, or e-mailing us.

The education of students is a shared responsibility between the home, the school, and the community. We will be doing our best to establish and maintain this partnership and to encourage your confidence in our efforts and together we work to achieve our goals through quality basic education.
