Central Visayas lies in the heart of the archipelago comprising four provinces namely: Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.  There are 16 cities, 121 municipalities, 3004 barangays and 15 congressional districts.

     With the present administration, Region VII's priority is to focus the learning needs of the pupils/students to achieve quality basic education.

     DepEd Region VII has a total of 3,230 elementary schools (2,907 public and 323 private) and 934 secondary schools (642 public and 292 private).

I am honored to serve as a Director to this large and highly diverse region and pleased to share our message with parents, students, and the learning community.
